Elaxca is one of the largest international retail companies and one of the largest distribution groups in the world.
This has some pros and cons.
Pros:
Sticky back so easy to stick in journal
Perfect size for journaling
It makes printing photos for journaling super easy
Cons:
Color is 7/10 at best
Print quality is same
The cost of refills is a little steep but not super terrible
They claim if you reuse the blue sheet with each pack of photo paper that it improved Color quality. Thats not necessary true. They all have this weird tint to them. Im not super picky about it because I enjoy the convenience and the size. This is super light weight. Battery isnt great but if youre just using it at home that doesn't matter. It drains super fast.
Overall it has its perks and its downfalls. Would I recommend it? Yes. I like the little printer. But if youre looking for super quality photos this isnt it. This is a hobby printer.
Downsides: That lid is very movable. Many times as I am turning on, I've accidently slid the lid off. Also, prints have a cool/blue hue, not true to color. If you do light photo editing in your phone app, that can correct it on print.
The first batch, before battery runs out (nice to show % of battery remaining), i printed 16 photos.
I plan to print 100 plus from my iPhone library as a start. Great for my wife, who has dementia and great for showing them to relatives
PRO TIP: The Alpaka “Hub Pouch Pro” is a perfect fit for this little thing. You can even fit a spare pack of printer sheets in the side pocket.
Bonus- The photo paper is a sticker!
One thing to note is that the battery can run down fairly quickly if you’re printing multiple items, so I recommend keeping the charging cord handy. This isn’t a big issue for me since I typically only need one or two prints at a time.
Overall, it’s a fun and convenient tool for journaling, crafts, and on-the-go printing.
I loved being able to print memories right after they happened — it added a personal touch to my journal that digital photos just can’t match. The Bluetooth connection to my phone was quick and easy, and the whole process was fun and satisfying. Highly recommend for anyone who loves journaling or wants to capture travel memories in a unique way!
It’s simple to use, turn it on, connect your phone, and you’re good to go. I haven’t had a single issue with the wireless connectivity, which is done by Bluetooth. It works flawlessly.
The prints are small, but I find that perfect. They’re not too small, or too big honestly. They’re the perfect size for scrap booking, or even just to keep in a photo album. If you’re someone that keeps photos in a wallet, phone case, or places like that, they’re the perfect size for that as well.
I feel as though $100 is very much so worth it for this product. The value for the money is perfect. You can’t put a value on memories after all.
My only complaint is that, the blues in photos show a lot. Some pictures tend to lose quality a bit, and some look like they have a blue filter over them, just slightly. That’s why I took one star off. I’ve read it’s because of the paper, but I don’t really know. I plan to try other photo paper to see if it fixes the issue, and if it does, I’ll change this to 5-stars, because the product does deserve it.
My other complaint is just that I wish you could connect two devices to the printer at once. There’s a queue so you can line up multiple prints at once, so I don’t understand why you can’t connect two devices and print like that. It’s not a deal breaker by any means though. It is easy to switch the connected device, it’s just something I figured I’d mention.

* I did have small issue w/ordering&shipping; the day it was to arrive, got notf. stating "payment declined" this is 11days after ordering. My bank statement showed the payment but in cust.serv chat; "payment was declined&everything was right on their end" This was right before Xmas so impossible to speak w/person. Id spent every cent on xmas gifts&cldnt afford to "buy it again". I was upset, sad &confused. Put a pin init until I cld speak w/Amazon rep. Wk or so later I recieved notf. it had shipped&it arrived last shipping day before xmas. Annoyed w/unnecessary stress, wait and worry.
In the end tiny printer arrived in time&was everything I expected&more.
1. Cut off issues- The bottom row is definitely shorter than the top row. You might have cut off issues. I use the 4 equal parts collage to print 4 mini movie and book covers. I added a photo of my recent cutting of the movie covers (the photo of the 4 movie covers lined up in a row). I bought a paper cutter because i thought i was just really bad at cutting or something, and that isnt it. It definitely cuts off the bottom row. I dont see why they cant just make the cells even. Its really annoying. So if you have wording towards the bottom, make sure you add that to the top row, not the bottom
2. Photo quality- As you can see from my photos, the quality of the image is really nice, in my opinion (even being such small images). On the Irish Wish cover, you might notice it looks slightly blurred. That is NOT a printing issue, that was how the photo looked from the Internet (because i couldnt find a higher quality image that would allow me to download.
3. Downloads- the mini print app wont let you use photos youve downloaded that are "protected", like movie/book covers from amazon, goodreads or IMDb, you'll have to try a download and then double check that mini print shows the image or not to print.
4. Paper- the canon paper isnt cheap and it could have been a temporary issue, but it ships very, very slowly. You can use zink paper from other companies in the printer, but they make you jump through hoops by having to "scan the blue paper" which has a barcode on it that it scans, which is dumb. I added a canon zink paper pack and then just incorporated another zink paper pack into it by adding a few sheets here and there (which works just fine, the printer doesnt know when youve "used all 10 sheets on the pack" so i basically used 20 sheets after scanning just 1 blue canon paper). The photo i provided (the one with the 4 movie covers lined up) was on zink paper not from canon. The other photos were from canon paper or another zink paper and they all printed of equal quality.
5. Connection issues- at first this connected to my phone just fine and everything worked great, until one day it just decided NOT to connect. Here's how i fixed it:
a) "forget" the printer from your bluetooth, delete it completely.
b) Delete the mini print app and redownload it
c) give your phone a restart
d) Then open the mini print app and reconnect the printer from there (dont try to reconnect it through the phone's bluetooth, it won't recognize it on the mini print app and keep saying "cannot connect" or it'll tell you to "turn on the printer" even though it is on) this was a huge hassle and annoyance trying to figure it out. But, now that i figured it out, I'm thinking it won't be too much trouble anymore, so hopefully this helps someone out there to not struggle with it.
6. Final thoughts- its a cute little compact printer that prints pretty high quality images. Its great for my bullet journal (i added some photos from my journal for you to see). It has its complications and little annoyances, but all in all, it was worth the purchase and i like it, and it made my journal super fun and cute.
